Story
A water spirit most commonly found in the southeastern United States, it prefers to stay underwater but is more than capable of travel by way spectral levitation. It’s very aggressive when it feels threatened. The bad news is, it isn’t hard to make an Altamaha-ha feel threatened. The good news is they fly slower than they swim.
Where did Altamaha-ha come from?
This is the origin of the ghost in Ghostbusters.
I haven’t been able to find a single mention of Altamaha-ha in any other Ghostbusters property. If you know of one, please comment.
