Story
Earl is an atypical subcutaneous specter, the kind of entity that prefers to hitch a ride in the skin of an unsuspecting host, only occasionally fully possessing the body (or parts of the body) for its own amusement. While they’re mostly harmless to their hosts, prolonged contact with a ghost’s psychokinetic discharge can make for a nasty rash. They’re not easy to lure out, either.
Where did Earl come from?
Earl appears in the feature film Ghostbusters: Answer the Call. I can’t recall if it appeared in the theatrical cut, the extended cut, or a deleted scene.
