We need a modular Ghostbusters Firehouse Playset

Ghostbusters Firehouse

Over the years, we’ve gotten a few firehouse toys.

The Kenner firehouse, the Playmobil firehouse, and the LEGO firehouse, and all of them are fantastic in their own right.

What I would love to see is a firehouse set based on The Real Ghostbusters animated series that has every room from the cartoon, from the top floor, down to the basement with the Containment Unit.

I suggest that the set be modular so that you can set up various scenes from the animated series, individually in the firehouse. For this thing to work, I would want it to be to scale with the Real Ghostbusters action figures, and I think it would be enormous. So here’s what it would be.

“The Real Ghostbusters: The Ultimate Firehouse Set”

As a fan of the classic 80s animated series, “The Real Ghostbusters,” I’ve always been enamored by the iconic firehouse that served as the headquarters for the ghost-fighting team. From the top floor to the basement, the firehouse was a character in and of itself, and I’ve always dreamed of owning a set that truly captures its essence.

So, what would I love to see in a “The Real Ghostbusters” firehouse set? To start, I think it should have every room from the cartoon, including the top floor, where the Ghostbusters’ living quarters and laboratory are located. This floor should include a detailed recreation of the team’s lounge, kitchen, bedrooms, and laboratory, complete with accessories like books, chairs, tables, and all the gadgets that the Ghostbusters used in their adventures.

Next, the set should also include a replica of the firepole that leads down to the first floor, where the garage and ambulance bay are located. This area should feature the iconic Ecto-1 vehicle, along with additional vehicles and set-pieces and the Ecto-2 and Janine’s desk.

Finally, the basement should include the Containment Unit, which is where the Ghostbusters stored all of the captured ghosts. This area should be highly detailed, with working lights, and the containment unit should allow for “trap cleaning.”

One key feature that I would love to see in this set is modularity. I want to be able to set up various scenes from the animated series individually in the firehouse. Classic moments from the show where they’re celebrating Winston’s birthday, or hanging out and watching TV together.

Finally, I would want the set to be to scale with the Real Ghostbusters action figures, which are roughly 6-inches tall. This would make it enormous, but I think it would be worth it to truly capture the essence of the firehouse.

In conclusion, I believe that a “The Real Ghostbusters” firehouse set that truly captures every room from the animated series would be a dream come true for fans of the show. With its modularity, attention to detail, and compatibility with the Real Ghostbusters action figures, I think it would be a fantastic addition to any toy collection.
